Non-invasive Cardiac laboratory

For early diagnosis of heart problems, every cardiovascular case is assessed in detail through various highly precise tests such as 2D/3D Echo, Strain rate imaging, Holter monitoring via a portable device that can measure electrical activity for 24 hrs or long, Ambulatory BP monitoring (wherein the sphygmomanometer is used to measure the blood pressure readings for 24-hr period irrespective of whether the person is asleep or awake), Head-Up Tilt Table (HUTT) test (records heartbeats and pressure per minute while the person head is tilted onto the table at different levels), Treadmill testing (to measure the electrical activity of the heart while exercising), Ankle Brachial Index test (to check for Peripheral artery disease), Coronary Computed Tomography (CT) Angiography (computers are used to visualise the heart anatomy in high resolution), Echocardiography (transesophageal, fetal echocardiography, transthoracic, dobutamine stress electrocardiography, and three-dimensional), Non-invasive Cardiology and others.

The Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at RBH is a highly specialised unit backed by best in class modalities from across the globe. Equipped with advanced modular CTVS OT, that facilitates all types of basic to complex adult and paediatric surgical procedures, the department adheres to very stringent benchmarks of quality and strict safety protocol. The hospital maintains a zero infection policy in all operation theatres and critical areas. We have a dedicated team of cardiac surgeons having immense experience in handling high-risk cardiac surgeries. The department has a dedicated Intensive Care Unit where highly trained nursing staff is available to cater to all your medical needs and offer round-the-clock, robust care. Invasive Cardiac Laboratory

It is the place wherein all invasive interventional procedures are carried out round-the-clock. These include CATH studies, Mitral Baloon dilation, Temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation, coil embolization, Electrophysiological studies, and many more. 

There is a highly professional team available that provides interventional cardiac services like Primary PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) and Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting for Acute Myocardial infarction 24X7.

The state-of-the-art Flat Panel Cath Lab, FD- Clarity 10, is capable of performing all forms of simple and complex Cardiac Interventions for all adult and pediatric patients.

Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery

An established division of the department that offers Valve replacement, Aortic root, Coronary Bypass Surgery (CABG), Aneurysm surgeries, Valve repair, Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)/ Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), Left ventricular Assisted Device (LVAD), and heart transplants.  

Intensive Coronary Care Unit 

It functions with all cutting-edge technologies at the bedside with different parameter monitoring systems and telemetry.

General Cardiology ward

The critically ill patients are addressed here immediately by the senior resident doctors and their team. The services include primary angioplasty and stenting to open blocked arteries and treat acute heart attack patients.
