Some of the dental tools available are Intraoral periapical (IOPA) radiographs, RadioVisoGraphy (RVG) imaging system, lateral cephalogram (X-ray of the side of the face), Conventional and digital Orthopantomagram (for a panoramic view of the upper and lower jaw), Field of View (FOV) scans, and Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) systems. The aim is to ensure that the patient is completely satisfied with the outcomes of treatment. 

The department houses the following provisions for the patients:

• Pediatric dentistry: to take care of individuals from new-born to teenagers

• Specialized (private) Wards

Tooth extraction: This involves both routine and surgical extraction carried for placing of complete or partial dentures. It also includes the cleaning, scaling, and air polishing of teeth. 
Alveoloplasty: The jawbone with teeth sockets is molded or reshaped so that missing or extracted teeth are replaced by dental prostheses.

Treatment of jawbone fracture caused by accidental injury:

Dental implants and crowning or capping: In this dental procedure, the artificial tooth roots that will be mounted by dental crowns or caps are used as a replacement to fill the empty spaces of the denture. 

Sinus lift surgery: It is carried out when there is not much bone support for the placing of implants. The surgeon cuts the gum tissue and takes out the bone graft which is further placed in the maxillary sinus for supporting implants.

Minor oral surgical procedures: This involves the biopsy of oral tissues, cyst removal, and withdrawal of the cancerous lesions or tumors from the face and jaws.

Gum surgeries: This is done for loose teeth, receding gums, gum loss, or excessive gum tissues.  

Cosmetic procedures: These includes bleaching, gum closures, slime designing, ceramic or metal crowning, tooth-colored fillings (to correct cavities and broken teeth), laminates and veneers, Metal and tooth-colored braces, ceramic and metal bridges, correction of cleft lip and palate, and orthognathic surgery (to correct proclined jaw).

Landmark procedures: The specialized procedures that have become popular in our department include placing of invisible/lingual braces; smile designing; Pain-free single session root canal treatment; single-visit tooth whitening system that lasts for about an hour; and tooth jewelry especially for the festive season.
