Labyrinthitis is basically an inner ear disorder that causes loss of hearing. There are two vestibular nerves that are present in the ear that are responsible for sending signals to the brain regarding information about the special navigation and balance control; and whenever any of the nerves gets inflamed it causes a balance disorder called labyrinthitis. There is a system of loopy tubes and sacs present in the inner ear, it also contains fluid and some hair cells that helps in controlling the body balance and hearing.
