BM Birla college of Nursing is situated in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Established in 2003, it is affiliated by Indian Nursing Council (INC), The West Bengal University of Health Sciences and recognised by Health & family Welfare Dept. of Govt of West Bengal. BMBCON, Kolkata offers two (2) courses namely B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing program. Additional campus facilities such as canteen, Girls hostel and library are also available.

 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates shall be admitted for the degree of Master of Science in nursing after fulfilling following requirements.

The cancidate must pass 4 years’ B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing OR Post Basic B.sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.sc.(Hons) Or 3 years’ B.Sc. Degree- Nursing if done through distant education and must pass from an institution recognised by INC and affiliated to any recognised University. Candidates must have minimum One year working experience. The candidates seeking admission for specialization in Medical surgical nursing; Obstetrical nursing; Community health nursing; Child health nursing and Mental health nursing, must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the last qualifying examination and should be medically fit. Candidate has to appear in JENPAS (PG) examination. Selection and admission will be based on JENPAS (PG) rank through online counselling.
