Dr Rakesh Sarkar is an experienced cardiologist and electrophysiologist associated with BM Birla Heart Research Centre. His expertise lies in doing complex arrhythmia procedures and novel pacing techniques as management of heart failure and arrhythmia. He is a specialist in Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Ventricular Tachycardia, CRT-D, and conduction system pacing in novel pacing techniques.
Dr Rakesh Sarkar has completed his MD in General Medicine from Bankura Sammilani Medical College and DM Cardiology from RG Kar Medical College. He completed his Post Doctoral Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology from Care Hospital.
Previously attached to Medanta the Medicity as Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist, he was also associated as investigator of few important large multicentric trial and many International publications on field of pacing and cardiac electrophysiology.
