Dr Anil Mishra is a Director of Cardiology in BM Birla Heart Research Centre. He graduated from Calcutta National Medical College and received his post-graduate training in the United Kingdom. After achieving Membership of the Royal College of Physicians he trained in Cardiology at some of the leading cardiac centres of Europe like The Cardiothoracic Institute at National Heart Hospital and Brompton Hospital and London Chest Hospital in London. He has wide experience in Cardiology and has performed many Coronary Angiographies (including radial route), Coronary Angioplasties and stenting, Pacemaker and other cardiac device implantations. He has a special interest in complex angioplasties, Pacemakers, CRT-D, AICD, and TAVI.
Dr Mishra is the first doctor in Eastern India to perform rotabolation, implant ICD and CRT-P and repair aortic aneurysm with aortic stent graft. He is also the first doctor from Eastern India who is U.S. certified to implant leadless pacemaker. He has performed live case of rotablation at SCICON, complex angioplasty live at International complex intervention therapeutic and complex angioplasty of LMS bifurcation live at TCT, Taiwan in 2019. He has been invited as faculty member to large number of National and International Conferences.
