Dr. Rajesh Sharma

Dr. Rajesh Sharma is a highly acclaimed robotic and minimally invasive surgeon in Jaipur with over 20 years of experience and 15,000+ advanced surgical procedures to his credit. A pioneer in Rajasthan, he was the first surgeon in the state to be appointed as a Robotic Surgery Proctor for the da Vinci Surgical System and has performed the highest number of robotic general surgeries in Rajasthan.

He introduced Single-Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) to Rajasthan in 2010 and was the first to perform SILS, TARM for hernia repair, and robotic surgery using bioresorbable mesh in the state. He has also served as a Proctor for J&J–Ethicon Endo-Surgery (MIPH).

An expert in robotic surgery, laparoscopic hernia surgery, and advanced minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Sharma continues to lead innovation while contributing academically as Organizing Secretary of HSICON 2022 and Treasurer of RAMAS.
