About Dr Forqan Babu Shaikh

Dr. Shaikh did his MBBS from Government Medical College Kolhapur, Maharashtra in year 2007. He did his DNB in General Surgery from New Delhi in Year 2012 & Fellowship of Renal Transplantation from IKDRC Ahmedabad. Thereafter he is working as faculty in NH RTIICS, Kolkata since 2013.

He has been awarded medals for academic proficiency throughout his medical career. He is the pioneer in doing Retroperitoneal Laparoscopic surgery in Eastern India.

He has performed thousands of laparoscopic procedures with excellent outcome, and highest experience in the minimally invasive surgery for retroperitoneal surgeries. He was awarded for 'Best presentation' in ISOT (Indian Society of Organ Transplantation) in year 2015. He is actively involved in training DNB students at NH RTIICS.

He has special interest in Advance Laparoscopic, Robotic and Vascular surgeries.
