About Dr. Barishan Mukherjee

Dr. Barishan Mukherjee did his MBBS from Calcutta Medical College and his post graduation from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology Kolkata, Medical College. Having served in a charitable institute in Chaitanyapur in Haldia for about a year, he joined LVPEI in Hyderabad for a fellowship in cornea and cataract. Later he joined CMRI as a consultant and is working there for the past 20 years. He is the director of an eye institute, Roshni Eye Foundation, situated in New Alipore. He is also attached to AMRI clinic and Second Sight eye center. He has special interest in eye banking and different types of corneal grafting/transplantation surgeries other than modern cataract surgeries or phacoemulsification. He has vast experience in usage of advanced or premium IOL'S like Toric, EDOF and multifocal/trifocal IOL'S.
