About Dr. Barishan Mukherjee

Dr. Barishan Mukherjee is a highly experienced ophthalmologist who completed his MBBS from Calcutta Medical College and his post-graduation from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Kolkata. After gaining experience in a charitable institute, he pursued a fellowship in cornea and cataract. For the past 20 years, Dr. Mukherjee has been serving as a consultant at CMRI. He specializes in eye banking, various corneal grafting and transplantation surgeries, and modern cataract surgeries, including phacoemulsification. He is also skilled in the use of advanced premium IOLs like Toric, EDOF, and multifocal/trifocal IOLs.
