Dr Anirban Chattopadhyay, critical care specialist, and general physician, is currently attached as a senior consultant department of critical care medicine at CMRI Hospital a renowned tertiary care multispeciality hospital. Dr Chattopadhyay has done his MBBS from Medical College, Kolkata, and his MD from SSKM Hospital Kolkata. He completed Fellowship in critical care medicine (FNB Critical Care Medicine) from Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai.He also holds the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) from London, UK. He also completed a certificate course in Pulmonology awarded by the National College of Chest Physicians and a certificate course in diabetes from the Royal College of Physicians and Public Health Foundation of India. He has a rich experience of treating critically ill patients for more than 15 years. On the academic front, Dr Anirban Chattopadhyay is a teacher of super-specialty degree in FNB Critical Care Medicine (the highest degree of critical care medicine by NMC) and a teacher of IDCCM and CTCCM courses run by the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. He also runs the critical care technician course by State Medical Faculty, West Bengal Government. Dr Chattopadhyay is a instructor of basic and advanced life support (BLS/ACLS) from American Heart Association. He has a rich experience in publication in various national and international journals and delivers talks in national and international conferences.
