Dr. S. K. Bala

Dr S. K. Bala is a distinguished Surgical Oncologist and advanced robotic cancer surgeon, renowned for his patient-centric approach and expertise in performing highly complex cancer surgeries. He is a pioneer in the field of advanced robotic surgery and the only surgeon in Eastern India to have performed over 100 robotic cancer surgeries and has introduced novel techniques including scarless robotic thyroidectomy and robotic oral cancer surgery. Dr. Bala is also among the select few surgeons in India performing robotic Whipple's surgery and robotic major hepatic resections.

Dr. Bala is also the only Surgical Oncologist in Eastern India to be an Intuitive-certified robotic proctor and has played a key role in establishing and mentoring advanced robotic surgery programs across multiple hospitals in India.
