Dr. Kaustav Basu

Dr. Kaustav Basu graduated as MBBS from Calcutta Medical College, Asia's Oldest Medical Institution and continued to do his post graduation in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from Eden Hospital of the same institution. He earned his Diplomate of National Board Certification from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Thereafter he got selected for a prestigious 3 years Fellowship in Gynaecology Oncology from Tata Medical Center, Kolkata.

He also holds a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery and is a certified da Vinci Robotic Surgeon from Intuitive Surgicals, USA. He is the first 4th Generation daVinci Robotic Surgeon of Eastern India since 2020 with near 500 Robotic Surgeries to his account. He got appointed as a National Proctor of Robotic Pelvic Surgery by Intuitive Surgicals since 2023 and has been instrumental in initiating Robotic Surgery programs in various institutions across the country. He is the first Surgeon to perform Robotic CRS with HIPEC in Eastern India.
