We provide a wide variety of services ranging from the management of advanced gastrointestinal tumors and pancreatic cysts to the treatment of severe illnesses such as ulcerative colitis, colon polyps, gallstones, and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux).
Our department is broadly under 2 division:
I) Gastro Medicine Services : The gastroenterologists at CMRI perform a range of nonsurgical procedures which are diagnostic and therapeutic, common ones include:- Examining the upper and lower GI tract and other internal organs with endoscopic ultrasounds- Colonoscopies to identify colon cancer or colon polyps- Liver biopsies to examine inflammation and fibrosis.- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography to detect tumors, gallstones, or scar tissue in the bile duct area- Double balloon enteroscopy and capsule endoscopy to examine the small intestine
ii) Department of MABHGIS : Minimal Access Bariatric Hernia GI surgery at CMRI is recognized as the center of excellence for advanced laparoscopic, gastrointestinal, bariatric and metabolic surgeries. It comprises a team of experienced, dedicated and highly trained specialists and surgeons renowned for delivering patient-centric and evidence-based treatment, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes. The department has a special focus on complex hernia surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, bariatric surgery, Whipple surgery, and other complex gastro surgery.
